All-in-one record players are, by far the most versatile turntable types and there are plenty of reasons why you should consider them for your casual listening.

While audiophiles prefer turntables that could give them a reliable, distinctive sound, casual people who haven’t set the standards for music quality so high should consider these turntables. In this review I’ll talk about what you should look out for when searching for the best all-in-one record player and I’ll suggest a couple of quality models right after. Without further ado, let’s get straight to it.

How to pick

In essence, if you want to find a good all-in-one record player, there are plenty of quality models on the market. However, not all of them will suit your needs, so you must narrow your search down a bit before making the decision.

The first thing you need to know about is that they’re often packed with moderately good features. That means that you’ll usually have to sacrifice quality for the sake of quantity.

Basically, make sure that the model you’ve chosen has at least three or more value features – a CD player would be useless if you never had a CD collection in the first place while an AM/FM radio comes in handy in virtually all situations.

Bluetooth is a great feature, but even “wired” models could benefit you the same set of advantages.

Let’s Take a Look at Some of the Best All-in-one Models

1. Crosley CR704D-PA Musician

Crosley is among the most famous turntable manufacturers, and going along with one of their products is always a good choice. We’re looking at the CR704D-PA, an exceptional all in one record player.

2. Electrohome Winston Vinyl Record Player

Electrohome Winston Vinyl Record Player

Next up is Electrohome’s Winston Vinyl turntable. This is a bit more expensive variant when compared to Crosley CR704D-PA Musician, but it holds a rather tremendous value for the buck nevertheless.

First of all, this turntable features a classy, elegant wood cabinet made of premium-quality materials. It’s sturdy, fashionable, and it houses a set of exceptional features, including a CD player, an AM/FM radio (combined with the illuminated tuning dial), and a 3.5mm aux input, allowing you to play music from your smart devices (iPhone and Android compatible).

The built-in speakers produce high-quality sound, and the acoustics of the cabinet are optimal, to say the least. There’s plenty of natural reverb, and the overall soundstage doesn’t lack in any department – the highs are bright, mids are clear and audible while the lows are bassy and deep.

One of the best features of this turntable is the conical shaped sapphire-tip ceramic needle – it enhances the overall audio performance with warm, natural tone, bringing some of the oldest goldies back to life with ease. Additionally, You can play 33 1/3, 45, and 78 rotations per minute records on it.

3. Boytone BT-28SPW

Boytone BT-28SPW

Let’s continue our review with Boytone’s BT-28SPW turntable. This is a classy looking record player which sports a vintage design – the speakers aren’t built in, rather they should be placed at the sides of the plinth, which makes this record player a bit unwieldy, but excellent for casual listening of music, radio, and such.

First of all, don’t feel down if you don’t like the first color style of Boytone’s BT-38SPW – it also comes in “gold” style option which looks a bit less natural, but superiorly more charming and appealing.

Basically, this is a very versatile record player – it comes packed with a Cassete deck, an AM/FM radio, an SD card slot, and several input jacks (USB and AUX). Furthermore, you can easily convert your vinyl records into MP3 format via your PC. The built-in Bluetooth allows you to gain remote access over all of Boytone’s BT-38SPW primary functions, but that’s not the end of it.

The display screen is really large, and most of the functions and settings are completely beginner-friendly. Additionally, the sturdy wood cabinet can withstand quite some punishment, and the same goes for the speakers.

  • Classy, nostalgic design
  • Comes with a cassette deck, a CD player, an SD cart slot and several input jacks
  • Sturdy construction
  • Bluetooth operation

  • Bulky and unwieldy, hard to move from place to place and takes quite a lot of room
